The Co-Founder of Home Depot, 93 year old Bernie Marcus did just that when he released a statement criticizing the general public for what he believes is a lack of work ethic. In the end he just showed he has no idea what the average person is going through right now in this nation, and social media is letting him hear it.

During an interview with Financial Times Bernie Marcus had the audacity to say, “Nobody works. Nobody gives a damn. I don’t want to work. I’m too lazy, I’m too fat, I’m too stupid“. His statement is ironic, because Home Depot is one of those companies that people believe underpays employees in some cases. Perhaps people got tired of billionaire business owners refusing to pay the average worker a fair wage despite having more than enough funds to do so.
