Two Police Officers Shot in Louisville at Brook and Broadway After Rioters Set Off Fireworks During a Breonna Taylor Protest
Two Police officers where shot in Louisville Kentucky at Brook and Broadway during a Breonna Taylor protest. According to one video account of the shooting, it’s possible rioters set off fireworks before the suspect opened fire and shot the two Louisville police officers.
The latest reports say the SWAT team has been summoned to respond the situation, and the suspect is possibly still at large.
At the moment the two police officers are being held at Louisville University Hospital, and their status is unknown. They may or may not have life threatening injuries.
No one wants to see anyone getting shot in the same area that people are peacefully protesting, whether it’s a protester or a cop. It leads to a dangerous situation for everyone involved.
