Plantation, Florida – When you drop your small child off at daycare most parents expect the caretakers to have the utmost concern for their kid. Sadly there’s many incidents where parents find their children are being abused or neglected at daycare centers. Even with that in mind a recent story of a horrific situation a parent experienced just seems too crazy to be true, but unfortunately it really happened. The scary KinderCare Plantation Daycare incident spells trouble for the future of any workers involved.

Video Shows Moment a Mother Found her 2 Year Old Locked Inside a KinderCare Plantation Daycare With Lights Off

The scary incident started when Stephanie Martinez came to pick up her 2 year old daughter Anastasia around 6 pm this past Tuesday. To her surprise she found her 2 year old daughter locked inside KinderCare Plantation Daycare with all the lights off. Naturally the young child was crying with a look of fear on her face as her distraught mother dialed 911.

As you’ll see in the video below her mother had no way to enter the KinderCare Plantation daycare without breaking in, so she had to wait for help to arrive.

Why Did KinderCare Plantation Daycare Lock a 2 Year Old Child Inside with Lights Off?

This scary situation was resolved after the Plantation fire department arrived, and forced their way into the KinderCare Daycare center to get Anastasia out. According to a claim from the 2 year old’s aunt Samantha, KinderCare corporate claimed the incident occurred due to short staffing, which doesn’t seem like a valid excuse all things considered.

How could short staffing make KinderCare workers forget a 2 year old child was inside the building before everyone left? It won’t be surprising if the child’s mother files a lawsuit. Somebody cue the saw off Florida gif.
