A Chicago man has been arrested for killing his girlfriend, her mother, and sister in a heinous triple murder. John Matthews is being held without bond. The motive behind the triple murder is almost unbelievable.
According to police report John Matthews murder his girlfriend and her family after they had an argument about cooking and braiding hair. When his girlfriend refused to do the aforementioned things, the Chicago man decided to shoot her to death and take her family too.
The victims of the triple murder are listed as Shonda Harris 24, Jasmine Neal 27, and France Neal 56.


After John Matthews committed the triple murder he allegedly fled to Iowa, where he was arrested by police. The victims’ grandmother was able to confirm that John Matthews was the murder suspect.
John Matthews is being charged with three counts of first degree murder. Each charge has a 20 years to life sentence in Chicago.
