If Phoenix Coaching staff had things there way CP3 wouldn’t have played in Game 4. Ironically he ended up being the story of the game putting on an incredible performance scoring 18 points to go along with 9 assists and 0 turnovers. Perhaps the most legendary part of his day was Chris Paul’s reaction to Monty Williams trying to sit him for Game 4.
Coming off a Game 3 where CP3 seemed to be more of a liability than help, he and Monty Williams sat down before the game to have a heart to heart conversation. When the idea of sitting him for Game 4 was revealed Chris Paul said “Hell Nah” to Monty Williams. That phrase would end up being the most important two words spoken by the end the game.
Down the stretch Chris Paul looked like to be back in form as the best point guard in the league as he hit clutch shot after clutch shot.
He also made his presence felt on the defensive side of the ball.
Y jugadas clutch defensivas.

Por estas cosas, Chris Paul es claramente el mejor jugador de Phoenix Suns. pic.twitter.com/JmBP7sTqBd
The series is now 2-2. For the Phoenix Suns if there is any negative to take aways from this game it would be their careless turnovers down the stretch that allowed Lakers to cut their lead to single digits, Devin Booker’s inability to get going in the second half, and the fact that they were getting dominated before Anthony Davis’ new injury.
Game 5 should be incredible.
