The hands of time were turned back as Derrick Roses scored a season high 25 points on a 11-15 shooting. On the flipside Rose locked up Ja Morant to 2-14 shooting for the game. Derrick Rose was schooling Ja Morant so bad he turned his frustration on to the referees. As result Ja Morant got ejected putting an end to his nightmare night.
Here is a look at Derrick Rose strapping up Ja Morant on defense before his ejection. He wanted that foul, but Rose played great defense on him as he did throughout the game.
This was one of those games where you hated to see it and loved to see it at the same time. Ja Morant is one of those players you hate to see struggling on the court, at the same time Derrick Rose is one of those players you love to see dominating people on the court. Both those things happened at the same time during this game.
Knicks are now 9-1 in their last 10 games and hold the 4th seed. Julius Randle proved he was worth the contract, and getting Derek Rose mid season was a huge acquisition. Don’t be surprised if Knicks pull off an upset in the playoffs. With Tom Thibs, Taj Gibson, and Derrick Rose the Knicks are lowkey the Bulls 2.0.
