The strangest quote in NBA history may have just happened during Kyle Kuzma’s postgame interview for Lakers vs Pacers. When discussing a clutch pass threw to him in the 4th quarter Kyle Kuzma says he was “Eye F******” Lebron James before the pass was made.
The Power of “Eye Smashing” Your Teammate
In basketball when your teammate stares you down like a woman in love, you pretty much have no choice but to pass. It’s clear this fact was known when Kyle Kuzma eye smashed Lebron James, because he got the ball like he wanted. It’s basically an unwritten law of the basketball court.

Lebron James and Kyle Kuzma have had there fair share of awkward moments on the court, but this takes the cake as the strangest moment. You could say Kyle Kuzma eye smashing Lebron was a form of legal violation. We all know Lebron got laser eye surgery early on his career, so his vision was clear as day as he was being serenaded by his teammates eyes.
Kyle Kuzma finished the game with 24 points and 13 rebounds, which included clutch shots in the 4th quarter that brought Lakers back to win after being down 12.
Kyle Kuzma is the first NBA player ever to openly admit eye smashing another player.
