Cheese is a big part of many people’s diet. Some of the tastiest meals use it as the main ingredient to really make the flavor or consistency pop. It’s so good that it even got a drug dealer name Carl Stewart implicated by the FEDS.
His demise came after the drug dealer shared a picture of Mature Blue Stilton cheese with his finger prints showing. FEDS used the picture to analyze his finger prints, and saw they matched finger prints in an ongoing drug investigation. The photo showed the drug dealer holding a block of Mature Blue Stilton cheese, which is a type of English cheese that has Penicillium roqueforti added to create a unique smell and taste. It is a favorite among cheese connoisseurs like Carl Stewart. According to police reports the drug dealer shared the photo of Mature Blue Stilton on EncroChat.
What is EncroChat?
EncroChat is network used by crime organizations to plan criminals activities. It was founded in 2016, and is based in Europe. Carl Stewart probably thought it was safe to post the picture through a network created for criminals, but he forgot one important thing. In 2020 EncroChat was infiltrated by police, so when he posted that picture he also handed a form of identification to FEDS unknowingly.
In Essence when drug dealer shared a picture of Blue Stilton cheese with his finger prints showing, he snitched on himself and got arrested.
FEDS charged the Blue Stilton Cheese lover Carl Stewart with conspiracy to supply cocaine, ketamine, MDMA, and heroin. He was also facing charges of transferring criminal property. For those crimes he was sentenced to 13 years in prison.
It’s safe to say he’s probably going to have a dairy free diet when he’s released from prison.
