Is Tim Carter aka ‘Clamp God’ the worst YouTube 1v1 hooper ever? Over the past year or so, no YouTube hooper has been catching more heat than the self-proclaimed “Clamp God,” Tim Carter. Known as one of the best defensive players on the Ballislife roster, he quickly became popular due to the tenacity he brings on the court. However, it seems he eventually became a victim of not knowing when his game is suited only for 5v5 games. Now some fans are calling for ‘Clamp God’ to retire.
The Beginning of the Alleged Fall Off: Tim Carter aka Clamp God vs CDL Nell
Tim Carter’s disastrous losing streak started when he played against an alleged bus driver who was much shorter than him.
Even with Clamp God’s friend heckling him, CDL Nell was able to win in dominating fashion.
The Worst YouTube 1v1 Loss of All Time: Clamp God aka Tim vs Tray Croft
Then came the 1v1 that has become part of YouTube basketball history. Many believe this is the moment where ‘Clamp God’ really lost his confidence.
This game was the epitome of a moment where the bully got bullied by the victim. As you’ll see from the jump, Tim Carter was trying to punk Tray Croft with Draymond Green-like tactics.
In the end, that would come back to bite ‘Clamp God,’ as the only thing he did was awaken a sleeping monster. Just watch how Tray Croft torched him.
The Calls for Retirement: Regjon vs Tim Carter aka Clamp God
Now to the present, where people on social media are urging the ‘Clamp God’ Tim Carter to retire. He showed up to June’s League and put on one of the worst performances you might ever see in YouTube 1v1s.
He pulled out all the stops on this one with air-balls, smoking layups, nonexistent handles, and literally getting his shot swatted back towards his face. Even J Byrd’s motivational speeches didn’t help him.
Regjon played bad himself, and still was able dominate Tim score wise. It was really tough to watch if you’re a Ballislife fan.
Many people in the YouTube comments just wondered why he keeps playing 1v1s when clearly his skill set is only tailored for 5v5 games.
It’s not clear what Tim Carter’s future holds in the 1v1 scene, but at the moment it looks like he needs to get back in the lab and work on his game if he wants to be taken seriously in that lane.
If not, the YouTube basketball community is just going to keep clowning him. As you can see by looking through YouTube comments, a lot of people think it’s time for him to retire. Some people are going as far to say Tim Carter aka ‘Clamp God’ is the worst YouTube 1v1 player of all time.
He has a huge opportunity to turn this into one of the best comeback stories on the YouTube basketball scene and prove everyone wrong. Take a few years off and come back as a new player.
