Viral video shows Canelo Alvarez punching Caleb Plant in the face, after shoving him across the stage during their faceoff. According to a new tweet Caleb Plant was talking about Canelo Alvarez’s mother, or so it seems.

Canelo posted a tweet with his video of the scuffle, and added a caption,

“Don’t talk about my mom”

Canelo Alvarez has some of the most feared punching power in the boxing, so it’s extremely dangerous to try fighting him with bare knuckles. As you can see in the photo below Canelo broke Billy Joe Saunders’ eye socket while wearing padded boxing gloves. That fight had to be stopped due to the damage to his eye.

One can only imagine the damage he can do with his bare knuckles, especially with the new allegations that Caleb Plant disrespected Canelo Alvarez’s mother. Most people would agree that Canelo is not the type of bear you want to poke in a sport like boxing.

Caleb Plant got really lucky he wasn’t seriously injured taking an unpadded Canelo fist to the jaw, after enraging him with alleged comments about his mother.
