According to reports student athletes on the Wisconsin Badgers Women’s Volleyball team reached out to police after they noticed their private photos were being shared on social media. Based on the description of some of the leaked pictures it seems at least some were nude topless photos of Wisconsin Badgers women’s volleyball team that were taken after they won a Big Ten Title in 2021. According to Fox News in those photos the women had their sports bras lifted up exposing what was underneath. It seems they celebrated the win similar to the viral Tai Emery moment after she won her Bareknuckle match.

Wisconsin Badgers Athletic department released a statement indicating that the people who leaked the photos invaded the student’s privacy, violated university policies, and also violated criminal statutes. They reiterated that the student athletes seen in the photos had contacted the UW-Madison Police Department, who have confirmed they are pursuing charges for crimes including sharing of sensitive photos without consent.
