Lebron James Compares Jimmy Butler’s Heat to the Golden State Warriors with Kevin Durant after Lakers Game 5 Loss in NBA Finals
When the Miami Heat play most people don’t think of the Warriors, but apparently Lebron James does. During his postgame interview after Lakers Game 5 loss, Lebron James compared Jimmy Butler’s Heat to the Golden State Warriors with Kevin Durant.
What is the similarity? According to Lebron James making a mental mistake against the Heat is equivalent to making a mental mistake against the Warriors with KD. Lebron James revealed this while he was answering a question about Danny Green and Markieff Morris blunders at the end of the game. Lebron James adamantly said Heat will make you pay for a mental mistake just like the Warriors around the 3:10 mark of the video.
Lakers gave Heat way too many free points in Game 5, but it’s still tough to agree with Lebron James from the outside looking in. Those Warriors teams were another level, a literal cheat code built up in a shady way. However, Lebron is actually on the basketball court with Heat players, so he might be 100% right. To be fair Duncan Robinson and Tyler Herro both have similarities to Klay Thompson.
Will Miami Heat vs Lakers be a rivalry like Cavaliers vs Warriors? If that’s the case then Lakers might lose the next two games. Who would of ever thought Jimmy Butler’s Miami Heat would mentioned in the same breathe as the super stacked Golden State Warriors.
