One of the most hilarious moments of this year’s TV season happened backstage at The Jennifer Hudson Show, when Modern Family star Julie Bowen met Wu-Tang Clan’s Method Man. The actress, who was a guest on the show, couldn’t hide her admiration for the rapper and actor, who was also there to promote his latest project.
The video, which went viral on social media, shows Bowen approaching Method Man from behind and pretending to twerk on him while he is unaware. When he turns around and sees her, she immediately compliments him and says “You are so fine”. She then apologizes for objectifying him and thanks him for being so nice.
Method Man, who is married and has three children, seemed amused by Bowen’s antics and hugged her warmly. He also thanked her for the kind words and joked that he was “blushing”. Bowen later confessed to Jennifer Hudson that Method Man was her new celebrity crush, and that he had “just made the top of the list”.
The encounter was both funny and awkward, as Bowen clearly had a fan-girl moment with Method Man. The rapper, who has said in the past that he doesn’t like being viewed as a lust symbol, probably didn’t mind her reaction too much, as he is known for his sense of humor and charisma.
