Russell Westbrook tested positive for coronavirus. At the moment he can’t join Rockets at the Orlando Bubble. He released a statement saying he feels 100% healthy, but has quarantined himself. Russell Westbrook confirmed he still plans to join the Rockets after he is cleared.

In his statement Russell Westbrook urged people to be safe and “mask up”, and ended with his famous “Why not” slogan. Almost all NBA players who tested positive for coronavirus said they felt 100% healthy, so Westbrook shouldn’t have anything to worry about besides spreading it other people. Quarantining is of the utmost importance.
Given the general timeline it takes to test negative for COVID-19, he should be able to join the Rockets in about 2 weeks. Rockets pretty much have a playoffs birth locked up, so this isn’t a big deal long term.
