With Thanksgiving right around the corner, what better way to pass the extra time at home than binge watching an incredible Anime series.
In this article we will give our opinion of the top 5 Anime shows to binge watch during the Thanksgiving Holidays. Some of them you may have heard of and some you may not have, but take a look at our list ordered from worst to best. Don’t worry we won’t include any spoilers.
Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress

Number 5 on our list is the Anime show “Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress”. This series is made by the same people who created Attack on Titan, which explains the similar theme and visually rich art style. The people in this world are hiding in steel fortresses based around train stations from an imminent threat looming outside the walls called Kabane. Think of this as a watered down version of Attack on the Titans that focuses on more so action, then the individuals stories of each of the characters.
One Punch Man

One Punch Man is a rare case where the super hero being “too strong” actually works. The series follows an anti-hero named Saitama who becomes so strong he defeats all his enemies with one punch. This leads to him battling a serious case of depression based on the fact he can never fulfill his urge to be in a challenging fight. The unique characters, deep yet simple storyline, and humor makes this a must watch.
YuYu Hakusho

Yuyu Hakusho is very similar to Dragonball Z in the way the characters battle, but with a much deeper storyline. The series follows the life of Yusuke Urameshi as he battles monsters, finds his inner strength, and discovers true love. The show also makes sure to give you an in depth look into the regular day to day lives of the characters by showing what high school life was like throughout the series.
You will find yourself becoming attached to many of the characters, and may even shed a tear at the end. The series has 112 episodes, so you probably won’t be able to binge watch this in one sitting. This is also one of the funniest Anime shows we have ever watched.
Attack on the Titans

For most people Attack on the Titans will be the best anime show you probably ever watch. No show develops characters better than ATOT. The show has a main character Eren Yeager, but this one of the few shows where every character seems like a main character. The story takes place in world where humans hide behind mysterious walls to protect themselves from giant humanoid creatures of unknown origins.
As the series takes you deeper into a dark twisted world, you will find yourself yearning for more. The show currently has 3 seasons and few OVA episodes. Season 4 is slated to be released in Japan on December 3, with the English dub coming out a short time after.
Re:Zero − Starting Life in Another World

In our opinion Re:Zero is the best Anime show you can watch if you love mystery. It follows the life of Subaru Natsuki, who is an otherwise normal 18 year old before a mysterious event turns his life upside down. The show will have you hooked once Subaru discovers the strange abilities he was inexplicable given, that even he doesn’t understand.
It’s really hard to completely describe what the show is about without revealing any spoilers, so we advise you to jump right into this show without researching it first. That is the best way to experience it’s true greatness. We guarantee after watching the final episode you will find yourself googling stuff about the story trying to figure out exactly what was going on during the series. This is a Crunchyroll original, and all the episodes can be viewed for free on their website with the exception of the final episode.
