When Donald Trump nominated Amy Coney Barrett for Supreme Court, all hell broke loose on Social Media with Republicans predicting that Democrats would call her racist. The interesting thing about this situation is Amy Coney Barrett has two black kids from Haiti.
This had prominent figures in Hip Hop coming to her defense when Ibram Kendi went on a rant accusing Amy Coney Barrett of adopting two black kids from Haiti for racist reasons. Adam22 dissed Ibram X. Kendi for dissing Amy Coney Barrett simply because she adopted black kids from Haiti. Adam22 said “So Wait, Twitter gave this dude $10 million to sit around and trash people who adopt kids from Haiti?”.

Ibram Kendi explained how he feels that white people like Amy Coney Barrett adopt black kids from other countries to “civilize” them and teach them that white people are are “superior”. He said he feels that white people adopt black kids from third world countries to use that as prop so they can say “If I adopt a child of color, I can’t be racist”.
Essentially Ibram X. Kendi insinuated Amy Coney Barret adopted two black kids from Haiti for racist reasons. He did admit that his sentiment might not describe Amy Coney Barrett.
