What would you do if you had to take a COVID-19 test, but through your anal cavity? That became reality for unlucky individuals when China made Joe Biden administration members shove cotton swabs up their anus to test for COVID-19. Anal swab COVID-19 testing is mandatory is some parts of China, but these U.S. Diplomats feel violated for a major reason.
According to the US State Department before the Biden Administration went to China they never agreed to the anal COVID-19 testing for obvious reasons. To their surprise when they got to China the US Diplomats had cotton swabs shoved in their anus anyway. According to Li Tongzeng who is a disease specialist in China, anal swab testing increases the rate of accurately screen potential positive COVID-19 tests.
This situation may have a lot to do with the widely believed sentiment that China views Joe Biden and his administration as “push overs”. It’s tough to imagine China subjecting Trump or his administration to this same type of treatment, but then again maybe they would have. At the moment the US State Department has filed complaints to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Representatives from China are claiming the US Diplomats were forced to take anal swab tests in error, however what’s done can’t be undone.
An untold of number of members on Joe Biden’s administration will probably have strange nightmares about China for a long time.
