Comedy Central Bends the Knee to Dave Chappelle Paving Way for Chappelle Show to Return to Netflix

Comedy Central has officially bent the knee to Dave Chappelle and paving way for the Chappelle show’s return to Netflix. In a viral announcement from his Instagram Dave Chappelle confirmed his show was returning to Netflix.

Back in November 2020 a very personal feud started between Comedy Central and Dave Chappelle where he accused them of not paying him for streaming his show. As result the show was removed from Netflix after he released a statement saying, “I’m begging you. If you ever liked me, Boycott Chappelle’s Show. Do not watch it unless they pay me“. Comedy Central sold his show to Netflix and HBO Max without paying him any money at all, do to an allegedly shady contract.

When Dave Chappelle notified Netflix they decided to remove the show from their services. However, it appears Dave Chappelle won that battle against Comedy Central. The video below is what Dave Chappelle posted on his IG account to announce the Chappelle show was returning for Netflix.

One of the greatest comedy shows of all time is back on Netflix, and that’s simply amazing.

Now we are all waiting for the The Office and Fresh Prince of Bel Air to return to Netflix too.
