According to reports from WXYZ Detroit News, police reports confirm that Emoni Bates was stopped by police in Superior Charter Township, Michigan after he did not stop for a red light at an intersection. During the traffic stop police began searching his car for an unknown reason, and found an illegal gun hidden. Police then discovered Emoni allegedly altered the ID number on the gun.
