Inside the NBA reacted to James Harden’s trade to Nets, and Shaq in particular had a lot to say. Shaq went off on James Harden forcing his way out of the Rockets, after it was his fault they failed in the playoffs every year.

When Shaq started talking about Harden he got very personal, even talking about things his dad used to tell him. He brought up James Harden asking for Chris Paul, Russell Westbrook, Dwight Howard, shooters, and Rockets giving him everything he asked for. He brought up James Harden’s woeful stats in elimination games over the past few years in the playoffs. In essence Shaq exposed the Impostor Behind the Beard.

Take a listen to Inside the NBA reacting to James Harden’s trade to Nets. Shaq reacts at the 2:32 mark, Kenny Smith reacts at the 4 minute mark, and Charles Barkley reacts at the 5:30 mark.

If you need a refresher on what Shaq was talking about just take a look at the video above. That was a Game 6 elimination game against the Spurs where James Harden shot 2-11 from the field and had 6 turnovers. Keep in mind Spurs were missing both Kawhi Leonard and Tony parker due to injuries, and James Harden was being guarded by an almost 40 year old Manu Ginobli.

The guy in that video claimed he did everything he could for the Rockets, when he literally choked in the playoffs every single year he wore a Rockets jersey. In 2018 James Harden set the NBA record for the most consecutive missed threes in NBA playoffs history.

Like Shaq said Rockets fans should be happy the impostor behind the beard isn’t part of their franchise anymore.
