All good things come to end, and unfortunately that remains true with Jump Force. After years of intense matchups with anime characters of new and old, thousands of hours put in to ranking up your created character, and thousands of online ranked matchups, there is now an official date when Bandai Namco is shutting down Jump Force Online Service Servers.
When are Jump Force Online Servers Getting Shut Down?
Here is timeline of how Jump Force Online Servers will be shut down.
Sales End Date
The first stage of the Jump Force shut down will be ending the ability to digitally purchase the game on February 7, 2022 at 5 PM PST.
Jump Force Online Service End Date
The next step will be the shut down Jump Force’s online servers on August 24, 2022 at 6 PM PDT.
What Content Will No Longer Be Available after Jump Force Ends Online Service?
The following will no longer be available when Jump Force Shuts Down Online Service Servers:
- Logging in to the multiplayer lobby world
- Online Events
- All Clan Functionality
- The ability to see the Notice Board
- The ability to view leaderboards
- Retrieving Awards from Reward Counter
- The In game shop
- Premium Shop
- Online Ranked Matches
What Content Will Still Be Available After Jump Force Online Service Severs Shut Down?
While hearing news that Jump Force is ending online service is very disheartening, there is a bright side. The ability to play unranked Online Battles will remain functional even after the Jump Force service end date. This means you will still be able to play matches online, but they won’t be ranked matches. In addition all DLC content that was already purchased will remain intact.
Essentially in about one year Jump Force will become a rank-less online fighting game, with the ability to play offline battles too. That’s not too bad considering the circumstances.
