Prophet Timothy aka Timothy Bayonne, a self-proclaimed man of God and motivational speaker, has recently shared his thoughts on marrying a 30-year-old virgin woman, well almost 30. His wife, who goes by @niacerise (Nia Cerise) on Twitter, described herself as a woman who used to be promiscuous, but did everything besides the actual act of making love. She decided to save herself for marriage no matter who long that would take.

Prophet Timothy said he was amazed and grateful when he found out that his wife was a virgin. He said, “It’s a blessing, it’s a blessing. I can honestly say that as someone who is not a virgin. I never thought I would be graced to have someone who would be a virgin honestly, because I thought God would count me out of such a blessing”. Essentially he felt he wasn’t worthy of having a virgin woman, but was got blessed by meeting a lady that was.

Prophet Timothy and Nia Cerise shared their story on social media, and received mixed reactions. Some people praised them for their testimony, and congratulated them for their unique marriage. Others questioned their credibility and authenticity, and accused them of lying or exaggerating.

As you’ll see below Nia Cerise responded to the reactions saying, “Never been embarrassed about it and never will be! And guess what.. my husband to be loves it! To my ladies, you don’t have to compromise. He’ll love you as you are. Let the Word of God keep you and don’t cave to the pressure”.

How Common is Virginity Among Women Over 30?

According to a report by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), based on interviews conducted between 2006 and 2008 with 13,500 men and women between the ages of 15 to 44, about 0.3 percent of women aged 40 to 44 reported to being a virgin. This percentage was slightly higher for women aged 35 to 39 (1.5 percent) and women aged 30 to 34 (2.4 percent).

Essentially it’s extremely rare in this day and age, at least in American culture. However, these statistics may not reflect the true prevalence of virginity among women over 30, as they are based on self-reported data that may be subject to bias or error. This means the recorded numbers could be lower or higher as there is also the chance of people giving false responses.

All in all, Prophet Timothy and his wife Nia Cerise seem very happy, and that’s more important than whether or not she is a virgin.
