Scottie Pippen dissed Richard Jefferson for calling him Giannis Antetokounmpo. After Richard Jefferson posted a video and said “Giannis might be Scottie Pippen”, all hell broke lose. Scottie Pippen responded to Richard Jefferson saying, “I’m not Giannis. I don’t have back-to-back league MVPs, and he’s not me. The question is who were you as a player?”. The last part of Scottie Pippen’s response was super disrespectful to Richard Jefferson.
Take a look at the heated exchange.

Was Richard Jefferson out of line with his comment? The easy answer is yes. It’s really disrespectful to compare a skilled player like Scottie Pippen, to a low skilled player like Giannis that gets exposed in the playoffs every year.
Giannis has a very limited offensive skill set, and his defense is also overrated in the playoffs against the good teams. Scottie Pippen was more like a Lebron James. Giannis is basically a 6ft 11in Russell Westbrook with less skills.
It’s no surprise that Scottie Pippen dissed Richard Jefferson for comparing him to Giannis.
