Shannon Sharpe and Kevin Durant got into a heated battle of words on social media. It all started when Shannon Sharpe brought a quote that Kevin Durant allegedly said on ETC podcast. KD called Shannon Sharpe a “Drunk uncle”, while claiming the quote is fake. This led to Shannon Sharpe blocking Kevin Durant on Twitter.

Kevin Durant started the verbal battle saying, “Y’all drunk uncle out here lying again. When did I say this”. He posted the video below.

That’s when Shannon Sharpe blocked Kevin Durant’s twitter account. KD responded with a short message saying “But I’m sensitive”, which is strange because he has already admitted being sensitive.

This situation brings back to light Kevin Durant’s prolific use of burner accounts. Due to his past social media antics it’s hard to decipher what quotes are real and what quotes are fake when it comes to KD. You can’t argue with anyone who believes those accounts Kevin Durant is claiming are fake are just more of his burner accounts.

This is like the old “boy who cried wolf” fairy tale. It’s hard to believe Kevin Durant saying twitter accounts were fake, when he was caught using fake twitter accounts and admitted to it. There is only one superstar in NBA history with a legacy sketchy enough for stuff like this to happen, and that is KD at the end of the day.
