Felix Verdejo Surrenders to FEDS for Kidnapping Murder of Pregnant Woman Keishla Marlen Rodriguez Ortiz in Puerto Rico

Felix Verdejo has surrendered to FBI for the kidnapping murder of a pregnant woman in Puerto Rico named Keishla Marlen Rodriguez Ortiz, who went missing on April 29th. Police discovered evidence that connected Felix Verdejo to the woman they found dead near Tedoro Bridge. Investigators focused on the timeline of events leading up to her disappearance, and gathered enough evidence to make Felix Verdejo the main suspect.

Puerto Rico police believe that the missing woman Keishla Marlen Rodríguez Ortiz was a girlfriend to Felix Verdejo. She was allegedly going to visit him to reveal that she was pregnant. It seems they have ample evidence that may prove Felix Verdejo murdered his girlfriend after finding out he got her pregnant.

Felix Verdejo Strange Reaction to the Missing Woman Investigation Before Surrendering to the FEDS

Prior to his surrender today, Felix Verdejo was grilled by investigators on the day of the kidnapping murder, but refused to talk with them. At the time he agreed to come to the San Juan CIC Police Station with a lawyer on a further date. FEDS were onto him after Felix Verdejo’s car was allegedly found in the vicinity of Tedoro bridge near Keishla Rodriguez’s dead body. There is also allegedly a video being reviewed that appears to show someone dumping the body, which they feel is him.

The Charges Against Felix Verdejo And How Long He Could Be In Prison if Found Guilty

Felix Verdejo is being charged with kidnapping resulting in death, carjacking resulting in death, and killing an unborn child. All three of these federal crimes carry sentences of life in prison or death penalty. In essence they only need to prove he was guilty of one these crimes and they can throw the book at him. It seems possible that Felix Verdejo is getting life in prison. In the US Court of law you’re innocent until proven guilty, but it doesn’t seem like he will be found not guilty of all three of those charges.
