A shocking story of a nanny who groomed an 11 year old boy then got pregnant, and kept it secret for three years is going viral again after the Inside Edition coverage was posted on Instagram. The boy, named Chris, was intimately abused by his nanny named Marissa Mowry, who lived with his family in Florida in 2014. The nanny gave birth to a baby boy named Bentley in October 2014, and lied to the family that another man was the father.
Chris did not reveal the truth to his mother, Nadine, until he was 14 years old. Nadine did not believe him at first, until he got a DNA test, which proved that he was the biological father of Bentley. She claims that she threw up when she saw the results of the DNA test.
Marissa Mowry was arrested in 2017 and charged with multiple counts of intimate battery on a victim under the age of 12. She pleaded guilty in September 2019 and was sentenced to 20 years in prison. She will also have to register as a sex offender and serve 10 years of probation after her release.
Chris, who is now around years old, has been taking care of his son, who is now 5 years old. He says that the nanny groomed him, and manipulated him into having intimate actions with her. He says that he loves his son, and wants to be a good father to him.
Nadine says that the Marissa Mowry’s actions changed her son’s life, and robbed him of his childhood. She says that he has to balance school and parenting, and that he wasn’t able enjoy his teenage years like a normal teenager.
The Inside Edition report, which aired in November 2019, has resurfaced on Instagram and has received over 2 million views. Many viewers have expressed their sympathy for Chris and his family, and their outrage at the nanny’s abuse.
