The game started off with Lakers going at the Heat with maximum intensity, which led to a barrage of turnovers. 3 minutes into the 2nd quarter and Heat already had 7 turnovers. The defense was intense as Lebron and Jimmy Butler went toe to toe with their basketball legacies on the line.
Just days before Jimmy Butler said losing was not an option for the Heat. He would soon learn that losing was an inevitable fate when your caught in the line of fire of the undisputed GOAT Lebron James. Lakers held Jimmy Butler to just 3 shots in the first quarter as they built up a comfortable lead. Jimmy Butler could barely walk after Game 5 and it showed in Game 6.
At the half Lebron James almost had a triple double with11 Pts, 9 Rebounds, and 6 assists. In the second half Lebron James would continue to dominate the Heat crushing their basketball souls as NBA Legends like Kareem Abdul-Jabbar watched him solidify his GOAT status. Lakers had the largest first half lead in NBA Finals history with 28 points ahead of the Heat. Even Skip Bayless finally gave Lebron props for change during his championship run.
Through the adversity of Jimmy Butler fighting Dwight Howard and Anthony Davis almost tearing his Achilles, Lebron James was able to achieve his goal of winning a championship for Lakers and Kobe Bryant. Lebron finished Game 6 with 28 points, 14 rebounds, and 10 assists, another triple double.
