According to police reports Melani Juarez was stabbed at least 14 times during the grizzly murder that took place. The suspect is said to be a man, but his identity is still unknown. Melani Juarez’s dead body was found by her friends inside a guesthouse.

Reports says Melani Juarez’s family and friends grew worried after they noticed she didn’t post on social media for over 2 days. Immediately they notified police to report her missing, then went to her last known location, which was the guesthouse in Rosario city. According to reports investigators pointed out that the locked front door and windows were not forced open before Melani Juarez was stabbed to death. This could indicate that her murderer was someone she knew, that was already inside the guesthouse. In addition it was reported that all the TV’s in the guesthouse were turned on and to the highest volume setting, likely to drown out noise while the murder was taking place. Lastly the only item stolen from the guesthouse was Melani Juarez’s cellphone.
