Chris Paul Dislocates Shoulder or Injures Neck and Leaves Game after Colliding With His Own Teammate During Lakers vs Suns Game 1
Chris Paul has a habit of getting injured at the most important times during his NBA career, and it may have just happened again. It’s possible that Chris Paul dislocated his shoulder or injured his neck in a freak accident play.
Early in the second quarter Chris Paul fell to the ground after a colliding with his own teammate and couldn’t move his arm. He put his hand over face seemingly signifying it was a serious injury. Everyone from both Lakers and Suns stood around him as medical personnel attended to him. As Chris Paul was helped off the court Lebron James gave him some consoling words.
The craziest part about this is that it looked like Cameron Payne barely grazed Chris Paul before he fell to the ground writhing in pain.
If Chris Paul is out for the series then Lakers got very lucky, because it didn’t look like they could keep up with Suns with him in the lineup. For Chris Paul this would mark another year of his career where a freak injury cost him a chance at championship.
Prayers up for CP3, hopefully it’s just a stinger.
