Did Melania Trump Buy Her Own NFT? Details On the Melania Trump NFT Scheme Conspiracy Theory
Did Melania Trump buy her own NFT? The acronym NFT stands for Non-fungible token, which is a non-interchangeable unit of data found on a blockchain that can be sold and traded. NFT Auctions for rare art, clothing, or any other objects sell for thousands or millions of dollars on the blockchain. When a NFT of items belonging to a famous person are sold, it’s usually other people who make the winning the bid. However, it looks like a certain Trump pulled a boss move with a shady scheme that shook the norm.
Details About the Melania Trump NFT Scheme Conspiracy Theory
According to recent reports Melania Trump bought her own NFT for $185,000. Yes you read that right, she allegedly bought her own items that were being auctioned off, which included her hat, a watercolor artwork, and a NFT digital art piece. In order to achieve this boss move, it took a series of small shady steps, which were connected back to her team upon further investigation of the digital wallet grape vine. What allegedly took place spells a major problem for the future of NFTs, and the credibility of the auctions involved.

Details on How Investigators Discovered Melania Trump Bought Her Own NFT
According to reports investigators discovered a series of transfers that started from the digital wallet of the person who created Melania Trump’s NFT. The first transfer for the amount of 370,000 in USDC stablecoin was put into a second digital wallet. The second wallet transferred the amount of 1,800 SOL to a third digital wallet, which amounts to the $185,000 that was used to place the winning bid. That last transfer was for 1,800 SOL, which was sent back to the first digital wallet of the NFT creator.
The above probably sounds confusing, but essentially it seems to indicate Melania Trump was working directly with the NFT creator to make sure her team won the bid for her NFT. The investigation suggests that the Melania Trump NFT creator bid on the NFT, then got the money back from a later transfer. This why conspiracy theorist believe the evidence shows Melania Trump was working directly with the NFT creator to make sure she got the items from the NFT sale.
If NFT auctions can be gamed like this then how credible is the auctioning process?
