The Stats from UK PHE COVID Vaccine Surveillance Reports Week 40 Explained

As you can see in the UK PHE COVID Vaccine Surveillance Report charts above, for every 100,000 people between 30-39 years old who are double vaxxed 764 will catch COVID, while 739 out of 100,000 people in the same age group who are unvaccinated will catch COVID. This means a double vaccinated person who is 30-39 years old is 3.34% more likely to catch COVID. It gets worse from here.

The biggest disparity comes for people in the age group of 40-49 years old. According to the data for every 100,000 people between 40-49 years old who are double vaxxed 1,282 will catch COVID, while only 690 out of 100,000 people in the same age group who are unvaccinated will catch COVID-19. This means a double vaccinated person who is 40-49 years old is 46% more likely to catch COVID.

In the age group of 50-59, a person who is double vaccinated is 40% more likely to catch COVID in comparison to an unvaccinated person in the same a group.

In age group of 60-69, a person who is double vaccinated is 41% more likely to catch COVID in comparison to an unvaccinated person in the same a group.

In age group of 70-79, a person who is double vaccinated is 34% more likely to catch COVID in comparison to an unvaccinated person in the same a group.

The disparity slightly levels out again in the oldest age group, but still shows COVID vaccine increases the rate of infection. For people ages 80 or older a double-vaxxed person is 9.9% more likely to contract COVID-19 than an unvaccinated person.

You can find the official report with the data presented above here on page 13. The UK PHE COVID Vaccine Surveillance report for week 40 really shows that double vaccinated people are more likely to contract COVID, than someone who is unvaccinated in most age groups. Based on this data you could infer that a double vaccinated person is more likely to spread COVID-19.

Vaccine Mandates are being pushed under the pretense that it will slow down the spread of COVID. However, the UK PHE COVID Vaccine Surveillance data suggests the COVID-19 vaccines are spreading COVID more rapidly, which could prolong the pandemic in theory.
