Video Shows Rapper Polo G Mom Confronting Police for Racial Profiling After Polo G Arrested in Miami For Attacking a Cop

Rapper Polo G was arrested in Miami for allegedly attacking a cop during a traffic stop, but his mom thinks racism is true core of the issue. A viral video shows Polo G’s mom confronting police immediately after he was arrested. Official police reports list charges against Polo G as battery against a police officer, resisting an officer without violence, and resisting an officer with violence.

The incident happen when Miami Police pulled over Polo G for for allegedly having tinted windows that were too dark. When police asked him to lower the windows, someone inside the car allegedly refused stating the car was bulletproof. At that point the officers ordered them out the car, and all allegedly complied except Polo G who had to forcibly removed.

It’s alleged that Polo G punched and elbowed a cop as they were trying to get him out the car. That officer had injuries including a gash on his forehead, a cut on his chin, and a swollen right cheek. They also allege Polo G threatened to kill the officer as he was hitting him. However, Polo G’s mom thinks racial profiling played a part in how the situation played out.

Interestingly in the video Polo G’s mom claims they didn’t have any guns, but Police say they found two guns in Polo G’s car. Who is telling the truth and who is lying?

Polo G was released from Turner Guilford Correctional Center this afternoon, and was seen covering his face to hide from cameras. An investigation of the body camera video of the incident is underway.
