Why Did Bismack Biyombo push fight Lamelo Ball after Hornets defeated Pelicans? The answer may have something to do with Lamelo Ball’s incredible stat line.
Lamelo was one assist away from a triple double, and appeared to go stat hunting near the end of the game. At one point LaMelo Ball passed up a wide open shot and forced the ball to Bismack Biyombo at the end of the shot clock, which made him have to take a crazy shot.
This incident possibly made Bismack Biyombo upset with Lamelo Ball, which led to an altercation at the end of the game. The viral footage below shows Bismack Biyombo pushing LaMelo Ball when he tried to dap him up.

LaMelo Ball is usually a carefree playful type of person, but you could see he was embarrassed at how Bismack Biyombo punked him out in front of everyone.
Is this a sign that Hornets players are jealous at the media attention Lamelo Ball gets? No one really knows the answer to that question, but this is a sign that Bismack Biyombo is not going to tolerate any selfish moments from a rookie on his team, no matter how popular they are.
Luckily for LaMelo Ball if a fight with Bismack Biyombo did happen, Lonzo would have probably stepped in to protect him.
