Lee’s death was publicly announced back in December by her family via an Instagram post from her sister, Angela Lee, who is also a professional MMA fighter. Victoria Lee was born in Hawaii, and signed with ONE Championship in 2020 at the age of 16. She made her professional debut in February 2021, defeating Sunisa Srisan by submission.
She was set to fight Zeba Bano at the upcoming ONE on Prime Video 6 show scheduled for Jan. 13 at the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand. Prior to turning pro, Lee had won back-to-back gold medals at the Hawaiian Pankration Junior World Championship in 2019 and 2020. She was known for her athleticism, skill, and determination. Lee was a fierce competitor, and an inspiration to many young martial artists.
