Female Detroit Police Officer Runs From Drive-by Shooting Scene Leaving Victim to Die in Viral Video

The city of Detroit has one of the highest crime rates in the United States, and the lack of professionalism by their police force may be part of the reason why. As example a viral video showed the moment a female Detroit Police Officer ran from a drive-by shooting scene leaving the victim to die.

In the footage the Detroit cop’s dashcam captures a man in a blue sedan pulling out a semi-automatic gun and firing at man standing on the side of the road. The police officer immediately speeds off, but allegedly later turned around to see if the victim was still alive. The police department also claims she waited some time before reporting the shooting.

According to reports the female officer has been suspended until an investigation into the incident is complete. Miraculously the victim survived the shooting with no help from the cop who was right there when it happened. Since the female Detroit cop ran from the scene of the drive-by shooting, the shooters still haven’t been captured.

On the surface this looks really bad for the city of Detroit, but from the human perspective that officer may have saved her own life by running the from the scene. It’s still wrong, because she signed up for the job to serve and protect under any circumstances.
