Maral Javadifar and Lori Locust Make History Becoming First Female Coaches to win a Super Bowl
A lot of history was made during Super Bowl LV, but none bigger than what Tampa Bay’s win meant for woman across the world.
Maral Javadifar and Lori Locust became the first women coaches to win a Super Bowl today.

Maral Javadifar seen above is the Tampa Bay Buccaneers assistant strength and conditioning coordinator, which is a very important position.
Lori Locust seen below is Bucs assistant defensive line coach, another equally important position.


These two incredible woman played a pivotal role in Tampa Bay’s success this season. In a league dominated by men they were able to breakthrough and make their mark in history. It all culminated with Maral Javadifar and Lori Locust becoming the only women alive with a Super Bowl win on their resumes, but hopefully not the last.
Between 2020 and 2021 Football has seen women make a lot of strides in the sport. In November of last year Sarah Fuller became the first woman to play in a football game. It’s cool to see women making history in the NFL only a few months later.
