Is Media Trying to Assassinate Tory Lanez Character with Megan Thee Stallion Shooting Rumor Because ‘Alone at Prom’ Album is Dominating Streaming Charts?

On December 10 Tory Lanez released a classic 1980s themed album called ‘Alone at Prom‘. The album has been hailed as one of the greatest projects this year, and is in the top 5 most played albums on all streaming platforms despite him being an Independent artist. However, some people believe it seems like the corporate media is now trying to rain on his parade by bringing up the Megan Thee Stallion shooting situation once again.

Is the Media Trying to Assassinate Tory Lanez’s Character Because ‘Alone at Prom’ Album is Dominating Streaming Charts?

Recently it was reported that a police officer allegedly testified that a drunk Tory Lanez told Megan Thee Stallion ‘Dance B****’ before shooting at her feet. However, Megan Thee Stallion never said this when she explained what happened on IG Live. Also there is allegedly body cam footage where Tory Lanez said he was trying to protect Megan Thee Stallion. Along with that Tory Lanez’s bodyguard detailed what allegedly happened that night, and it doesn’t corroborate with this new rumor.

What some people feel is really happening is that the music industry is attempting to assassinate Tory Lanez’s character to destroy the success of his ‘Alone at Prom’ album. Currently Tory Lanez’s 1980s project is at Number 3 on Spotify charts.

Is it a coincidence that after his streaming numbers were reported that stories about Tory Lanez telling Megan Thee Stallion ‘Dance B****’ before shooting her feet are now being reported by corporate media outlets?

On December 13, Spotify posted this graphic, which showed how the independently released Alone at Prom is seeing the same success as albums released by major labels.

The day after his streaming numbers went viral, all of sudden major media outlets start reporting that cop testified that Tory Lanez told Megan Thee Stallion ‘Dance B****’ before shooting at her feet. However, some people think this is all a strategy to undermine Tory Lanez’s independent success with the Alone at Prom album.

Reports say a Judge has upheld the assault and weapon charges against Tory Lanez in relation to the Megan Thee Stallion shooting incidents. He could possibly be guilty of the things being alleged, but the timing of these reports and the way it’s being reported just seems very strange.

People should probably wait for the full investigation and trial to be complete before passing judgement. Conspiracy theorists believe people should also take the media reports with a grain of salt, because it’s possible this could all be a continuation the alleged blackballing effort the music industry seems to doing to Tory Lanez.

If you haven’t listened to ‘Alone at Prom‘ yet, you really should, because it’s quite possibly album of the year.
