The impostor behind the beard strikes again, and this time Austin Rivers was the victim. According to a new report from The Athletic, James Harden tried to fight Austin Rivers after blaming him for missing his own free throw.
During the playoffs James Harden missed a free throw and accused Austin Rivers of standing up on the bench to distract him, which allegedly led to a verbal fight between them. It was another moment of James Harden disastrous choking playoffs career. Another moment of James Harden not holding himself accountable for all his mistakes and shortcomings.
James Harden fighting Austin Rivers over a free throw he himself missed isn’t the first emotional clash these two had. Back in July James Harden got angry at Austin Rivers for taking too much time to answer a reporter’s question during an interview.
Back in February Austin Rivers stole James Harden’s triple double away from him, which made James Harden visibly upset. Austin Rivers apologized for that incident.
As you can see the history between two goes way back. It seems James Hard picks on Austin Rivers for the most trivial reasons. James Harden yelling at Austin Rivers after missing his own free throw is just embarrassing to hear. It just shows how low James Harden’s basketball IQ is, which would explain why he still plays an inefficient choke laden style of basketball that will never succeed in the playoffs in terms of championships.
When we wrote “The Impostor Behind the Beard” article last year, a lot of people probably didn’t understand the details we provided. However, after watching the playoffs and seeing how James Harden blames teammates for his own faults, choked in the playoffs yet again, and got shut down by an undrafted rookie Lu Dort, it should be easy to see why he’s an impostor hiding behind a beard.
James Harden verbally fighting Austin Rivers after missing his own free throw is almost as bad as Kevin Durant dissing Lebron James.
